When is SAT School Day?
Wednesday, March 4th all Juniors will be taking the SAT with Writing free of charge.
Why Should You Study for the SAT?
1. Most colleges and universities require that future applicants take a college entrance exam such as the SAT or ACT before they apply.
2. Many scholarships are “Merit Based” meaning that grades and SAT or ACT scores are the main criteria for awarding students. The higher a student’s grades and SAT scores, the more grants and scholarships they will be eligible for.
3. Competitive schools look at GPA and SAT scores more closely than other schools when selecting future students. Students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the average test scores at the institutions of their choice, and aim to attain similar scores.
